About the role

  • As Partner Manager – Cisco Public, you are the competent and professional manager of our strategic partner Cisco in the public sector.
  • You are responsible for building and maintaining sustainable, win‑win relationships and for aligning functions such as Networking and IT Security.
  • Establish and maintain long‑term, cross‑functional partnerships with Cisco in the public sector.
  • Work closely with Sales, Solution Management, Services and other central functions.
  • Further develop the partner strategy and purposefully optimize our overall Cisco service portfolio.
  • Ensure the implementation of agreements and the targets set out in the business plan.
  • Prepare forecasts as well as profit and loss analyses.

Requirements

  • Commercial training or a degree and professional experience in the IT sector
  • Ideally several years of experience in sales, project management or channel management – preferably with a focus on Cisco
  • Existing network with Cisco and knowledge of the public sector are advantageous
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to influence at management level
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
  • Willingness to travel
