About the role

  • You manage and optimize Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
  • You install, configure, and maintain database systems
  • You develop and implement backup and recovery strategies
  • You handle performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • You create scripts to automate tasks and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure database integrity and security

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or a degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Professional experience managing Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases and strong knowledge of SQL and PL/pgSQL
  • Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems, scripting (e.g., Bash, Python), and ideally automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
  • Structured and self-reliant working style, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a team
  • Customer-oriented, flexible, and willing to travel
