About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own CI/CD and infrastructure design across supported teams
Define architecture, deployment strategies, and specifications directing AI-built pipelines, infrastructure code, and automation
Code directly when necessary
Decide and validate pipeline tests, policy-as-code, and security gates
Build shared CloudSecOps standards, patterns, tooling, and practices
Own application observability and instrument supported services
Tie alerting to product SLOs
Help engineers debug and resolve production issues
Make reviews, deployment decisions, on-call responses, and incident learning accountable to human judgment
Coach engineers on specifying, delegating, and validating work with AI

Requirements

What you’ll need

Agentic AI is your primary surface for planning and building CI/CD and infrastructure; able to write executable specifications and validate AI-produced work
Experience building and operating production CI/CD and cloud infrastructure at real scale using AWS or Azure
Experience carrying on-call load
Testing, security, and observability designed into systems
Experience working across multiple application teams and with CloudSecOps peers
Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes for application workloads
Experience with Helm or similar
Production experience with serverless functions
Production experience with one or more IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM
Fluency in at least one modern language, such as Python or Java
Experience implementing SAST, DAST, SCA, and secrets scanning in pipelines
Experience with least-privilege IAM
Experience with encryption in transit and at rest
Experience working within HIPAA/HITRUST and SOC 2 compliance frameworks
