About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide direct remote support to clients on behavioral, emotional health, family, and wellness-related issues
- Conduct clinical intakes by telephone and refer clients to appropriate resources, such as therapists or counselors
- Follow departmental protocols, best practices, and customer requirements
- Resolve client issues and identify resources using critical thinking and problem-solving
- Educate clients about resources, eligibility, and services
- Maintain complete and accurate case documentation in the proprietary database
- Monitor emerging behavioral health trends and best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure continuity of care and alignment with client-specific service expectations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of Master's in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a Behavioral Health field
- Superior active listening skills
- Demonstrated ability to be empathetic to client concerns
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Clinical assessment experience in mental health, chemical dependency, and crisis stabilization
- Sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Experience working with clients in crisis
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent organizational skills
- Highly self-motivated and dependable
- Stable work history required
- Intermediate computer skills
