Target and generate leads from prospect SMB client accounts (below 1,000 lives)
Develop and execute aggressive lead generation and qualification plans and strategies
Strategically manage the sales process including high-volume RFPs, contract negotiations and deal closings
Develop relationships with direct prospects, brokers, consultants, and distribution partners
Perform pipeline tracking and sales process reporting
Collaborate with ComPsych business leaders to portray services and value proposition
Work with account management team on renewal processes
Participate in occasional travel for annual sales meetings and client meetings
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience selling business services in EAP, Work-Life Services, Health and Wellness Programs, or Outsourced HR Services
Established list of key HR and/or benefit consultant contacts for immediate utilization
Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to manage a complex sales process including prospecting, lead qualification, sales strategy development, relationship building, RFPs, contract negotiations, and deal closings
Analytical, organizational and planning skills for forecasting, pipeline tracking and reporting
Strong communication and presentation skills; experience cold calling and meeting with senior executives
Bachelor's degree required and a stable work history
Strong attention to detail
Occasional work travel required (annual sales meetings, client meetings, etc.)
Must have high-speed internet and workspace free from distraction, disruption or noise
Ability to be on camera when attending work related trainings, meetings and/or events
Must be able to sit or stand at desk for prolonged periods of time while working on a computer
