About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide in-person or telehealth short-term counseling for employees
  • Provide in-person and telephonic risk assessment for employees in crisis
  • Provide critical incident debriefings, if indicated
  • Address inquiries about program benefits and connect employees with resources
  • Participate in mental health-promoting activities
  • Provide training and lunch-and-learns on behavioral health issues
  • Provide leadership consultations and support for workplace behavioral health issues
  • Provide strategy support on program service delivery satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree in a mental health discipline or doctorate in psychology
  • An independent clinical license to practice in California
  • At least 5 years of post-graduate clinical experience
  • Experience in work-related issues at employer’s worksite
  • Experience with crisis management, substance use and psychiatric treatment
  • Demonstrated experience consulting with management in organizations
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule: 32 hours/week onsite and 8 hours/week telehealth
  • Sound clinical judgment applied to both clinical and organizational needs
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Active membership in professional organizations
  • CEAP certification preferred
