About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide goal-oriented in-person and telehealth EAP counseling using brief, solution-focused interventions
Provide culturally competent care to diverse clients
Conduct risk assessment, safety planning, and crisis stabilization when appropriate
Deliver quality and effective counseling services that promote positive outcomes and client satisfaction
Maintain a full caseload of adult clients, primarily individual therapy with occasional couples therapy
Manage client caseload independently, including scheduling follow-up appointments and communicating with clients between sessions
Strengthen professional knowledge through review of effective treatment modalities, evidence-based interventions, and clinical expertise development
Perform other clinical duties as assigned
Work as part of a supportive team of clinicians

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master level licensed clinician
Independent license required
5+ years of providing clinical services
Clinical assessment experience in mental health required
Experience in risk assessment, safety planning, and crisis stabilization
Proficiency in treatment of adult clients with various mental health conditions and life stressors
Experience working with diverse client populations and providing culturally competent and relevant care
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sound clinical judgment, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Strong time management and organization skills
Ability to manage own schedule and client caseload
Clinical assessment experience in substance use preferred
Experience providing short-term, solution-focused therapy preferred
Telehealth service delivery experience preferred
Flexible work hours, including some evening hours, desired but not required
