About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WLAN/WAN environments.
- Support Cisco network infrastructure, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS solutions.
- Serve as the regional technical lead for network operations, configuration management, and network performance.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network issues using SolarWinds Orion, ARMIS, Ansible, and other network management tools.
- Configure and support routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRRP, and RSTP.
- Develop and maintain network standards, documentation, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with government personnel and technical teams to support secure, highly available network operations.
- Support network security initiatives and Zero Trust architecture implementation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or technical/vocational education with 10+ years of directly related experience.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification (or equivalent).
- CISSP (Required).
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) (Required).
