About the role

  • Collaborate with the marketing lead to finalize the content strategy and direction of content pieces needed to fulfill their goals.
  • Create educational and informational content pieces that present the client as an authority and follow all best practices to drive rankings and conversions.
  • Conduct desk research using credible technical and regulatory sources, which will be provided and shared by the client.
  • Conduct internal interviews with provided subject matter experts, which will include preparing short questions beforehand, booking and running interviews, and taking notes or arranging transcriptions with follow-up clarification as-needed.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in messaging that aligns with the tone and brand.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a B2B content writer, preferably within the maritime industry.
  • Relevant architectural, technical, or logistical experience will also be accepted.
  • Ability to make technical topics accessible in a blog format.
  • Exceptional writing abilities and the skill to adapt tone and style to match brand and audience.
  • The candidate must also have impeccable grammar and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization best practices.
  • Light strategic collaboration to guide the team on the most effective content piece based on the message they want to convey.
