About the role
- Help borrowers become mortgage-ready and guide them through the loan process from application to closing
- Prequalify borrowers, issue accurate pre-approvals, and manage the loan pipeline to ensure on-time closings
- Work closely with the Loan Officer, borrowers, processors, underwriters, and referral partners to create a smooth and exceptional client experience
- Maintain professional communication in all calls and emails
- Deliver a concierge-level experience for borrowers and referral partners
- Stay up to date on investor guidelines and program changes
- Attend team pipeline meetings and collaborate with processing teams
Requirements
- Active NMLS license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- 3+ years’ experience in mortgage processing, underwriting, or origination
- Strong knowledge of DU/DO, LP, and investor guidelines
- Experience with Loan Origination Systems, such as: ARIVE, LendingPad, Encompass
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to collaborate with team members across departments
- Spanish language skills are a strong plus.
