About the role
- Ensuring the integrity, compliance, and operational accuracy of the bank’s deposit and loan portfolios
- Performing detailed audits, quality control reviews, and regulatory oversight
- Focus on FNMA loan servicing and claims management
- Responsible for identifying process improvements and automation
- Leading testing efforts pertaining to any product changes approved by Management
- Ensuring a complete and accurate User Acceptance Test (UAT) result
- Presenting audit conclusions and performing necessary retroactive lookbacks or audits
- Researching all legal issues or complaints related to Deposit-Lending Loans
- Overseeing FNMA relationship and ensuring compliance with Fannie Mae's rules
- Centrally handling all FNMA claims submitted by Ocean Bank and overseeing claims research
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, or Accounting
- Five (5) years of experience in banking operations, loan servicing, or compliance
- Understanding of FNMA servicing guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Experience performing quality control reviews
- Leadership abilities to lead projects and manage people indirectly
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer knowledge of MS Software (Excel, Word and Outlook)
