About the role
- As a Consultant in IT Contract & Provider Management, you will advise mid-sized companies and large corporations on IT provider management, contract management and Software Asset Management.
- You will support our clients in complying with relevant internal and external compliance requirements and in increasing efficiency within their provider landscape, contract portfolio or individual suppliers.
- After an initial optimization phase, you will continuously develop the organization, processes and systems related to these areas at our clients.
- In doing so, you will apply your methodological knowledge in project, process and risk management.
- Internally, you will regularly exchange insights in our knowledge-management formats about market developments and pass on your knowledge to more junior colleagues.
Requirements
- Completed commercial or technical vocational training (e.g., IT systems management) and/or a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in (business) informatics, economics, business administration, social sciences or natural sciences
- At least 1–3 years of practical experience in consulting or in a line role within IT Vendor Management / IT Provider Management / IT Contract Management
- Knowledge and experience in process organization (contract management, provider management and procurement)
- Experience in the operational and strategic selection, governance and evaluation of IT service providers
- Experience with contract-management tools and an interest in AI are desirable
- Strong analytical mindset and a good understanding of business contexts and numerical data
- Target-oriented, independent working style with a team-player mentality
- Very good German and English skills (business/negotiation level)
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
