About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review Government provided information including Detailed Architecture Designs and Site Build Lists
Create telecommunications site implementation plans
Support development of standardized documents, templates, and processes
Communicate with project and program managers, field engineers, site personnel, government customers, and contractors
Site Preparation Activities – installation of equipment racks and power to racks
Hardware/software installation and/or removal
Site wiring implementation, inspection/testing, and removal
Circuit end-to-end activation coordination and cutover management
Site implementation testing and checkout
Work with teams inside and outside of organization to complete required objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active Security clearance required
Current US Passport required
Proven experience as a Field Engineer or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of cable management and infrastructure maintenance
Familiarity with ANSI/TIA/EIA standards
Ability to conduct detailed site surveys and develop comprehensive engineering plans
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail
Ability to work on-demand for emergency and non-emergency situations
Ability to lift 40lbs
Ability to use standard and non-standard ladders.
