About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate communications between departments and team members.
- Provide back office assistance with training.
- Assist in maintaining updated financial records, including accounts payable, deposits, donations, etc.
- Pull and audit prebilling batches.
- Submit invoices and claims to the appropriate parties.
- Maintain accurate billing records for pharmacy, medical supplies, etc.
- Order office supplies as needed.
- Ensure new team members complete onboarding processes.
- Track and aid in compliance with colleague licenses and training.
- Serve as HR Business Partner between team members and Human Resources.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in insurance and Medicare/Medicaid billing and reimbursement preferred.
- Experience in office management helpful.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and governmental regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communications.
- Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English.
- Experience in EMR or working in a Practice Management System.
- Must have reliable transportation.
