About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation
  • Promote the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation
  • Uphold the Code of Ethical Conduct
  • Facilitate the flow of patient care from initial consultation to patient discharge
  • Establish and maintain patient charts in accordance with Medicare/Medicaid rules and regulations
  • Schedule new and follow-up Community Palliative Care visits
  • Confirm appointments with Community Palliative Care patients
  • Perform billing tasks as outlined in the Palliative Care Guideline

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of related experience highly preferred
  • Experience as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse preferred
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, investors, and external parties
