About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation
- Promote the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation
- Uphold the Code of Ethical Conduct
- Facilitate the flow of patient care from initial consultation to patient discharge
- Establish and maintain patient charts in accordance with Medicare/Medicaid rules and regulations
- Schedule new and follow-up Community Palliative Care visits
- Confirm appointments with Community Palliative Care patients
- Perform billing tasks as outlined in the Palliative Care Guideline
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED required
- Two (2) to three (3) years of related experience highly preferred
- Experience as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse preferred
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, investors, and external parties
