About the role
- Provide grief intervention and counseling to bereaved individuals.
- Facilitate support groups and assist in programs as assigned.
- Participate in community education to promote understanding of grief.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client demographics, medical and financial information at all times.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures including regulatory requirements with regard to infection control.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Counseling, psychology, social work or theological studies/pastoral ministry.
- 3 years Post-Master's work experience.
- 2 years in Health care services setting.
- 1 year Experience providing grief counseling to children and families.
- 1 year Experience in interpersonal communications, group process development and facilitation.
- Washington Marriage and Family Therapist License or Washington Mental Health Counselor License or relevant certifications.
