About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Champion and implement global program designs, standards, and training tools aligned with ministry objectives
  • Equip National Offices to provide holistic development to caregivers, children, and youth
  • Partner with Regional staff and stakeholders to provide program implementation support and learning strategies
  • Consult with National Offices on Compassion’s theory of change and outcomes framework
  • Support the design and development of globally implemented program models, including theory, standards, activities, tools, resources, and indicators
  • Provide subject matter expertise within the food assistance specialty
  • Support program data usage to measure global program inputs, outputs, and outcomes
  • Coach Regional staff on measurement usage and interpretation
  • Serve as subject matter expert on metric creation, collection, and usage
  • Conduct special training and initiatives and consult on industry standards, national policies, and best practices
  • Analyze global program process problems and define activities to address them, including requirements, process review, impact assessment, and operational streamlining
  • Prepare presentations, future-state maps, success metrics, business requirements, and impact analyses
  • Participate in creating new processes
  • Define metrics and develop reports tracking program development and implementation success
  • Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Provide expertise and coaching to program support and partnership staff in Regional and National Offices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Consistently witnesses for Jesus Christ and upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer
  • Advocates for children’s needs and understands the mandate to protect children
  • Commits to child protection in all decision-making, tasks, and activities
  • Abides by Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct
  • Reports concerns of child abuse, neglect, or exploitation through Compassion’s internal reporting process
  • Competent knowledge in a food assistance or related specialty
  • Ability to work independently on moderate to highly complex issues
  • Ability to coach and/or oversee the work of other specialists
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, Regional staff, National Office staff, and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of program design, standards, training tools, theory of change, and outcomes frameworks
  • Expertise in program data, metric creation, collection, interpretation, and usage
  • Ability to conduct training and apply industry standards, national policies, and best practices
  • Ability to analyze global program processes and define requirements, impacts, and efficiency improvements
