About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • This manager leads a team responsible for fundraising business readiness at Compassion International through the development and delivery of learning solutions, training resources (e.g., videos, job aids, procedures), and quality measures that ensure standardized work across operations.
  • The team supports OCMO, GPE, CVG, and select Covenant Partner fundraising needs by providing training and documentation across key areas, including Relationship Management (Church, Influencer, Donor), Business Support Specialists, Trip Leading, marketing operations for mass supporter segments, call center operations, and processing teams.
  • Support includes onboarding, upskilling, Salesforce CRM and fundraising training, field experience preparation, and readiness for new projects, processes, and products.
  • This leader ensures teams are prepared to adopt, execute, and sustain operational changes, serving as a bridge between strategy, process improvement, technology implementation, and frontline execution.
  • This role reports to the Director of Operational Excellence.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7-10 years of experience in training or development, including applying learning solutions and documenting standard work to support operational readiness of fundraising teams.
  • 3+ years experience leading and managing professional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training and/or certification.
  • Demonstrated experience leading operational readiness for large-scale business, technology, or process initiatives.
  • Experience developing and governing documentation, standard work, knowledge management systems, and operational procedures.
  • Experience implementing and sustaining organizational change initiatives.
  • Strong technical proficiency with systems and software, with the ability to rapidly learn, adapt, and guide others in doing the same.
  • Preferred experience supporting fundraising or customer/revenue-generating operations (e.g., donor services, contact centers).
  • Experience measuring adoption, performance, and sustainment outcomes.
  • Experience with quality management, QA practices, or process governance.
  • Experience applying Operational Excellence principles (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
