About the role
- Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintaining a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully uphold Compassion’s ministry in prayer
- Act as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children
- Understand Christ’s mandate to protect children
- Commit to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry
- Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct
- Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur
- Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors
- Lead marketing strategy, messaging, and collateral for donor-funded initiatives
- Develop compelling product naming and brand identity
- Create donor-facing materials and messaging
- Collaborate with fundraising teams and regional representatives to promote offerings
- Refine product features and donor experience based on feedback
- Ensure operational and financial sustainability of offerings
- Define and track KPIs, donor engagement, and retention metrics
- Support of other products as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or related strategic roles—ideally within donor‑funded, nonprofit, or mission‑driven environments
- Proven ability to define product strategy and roadmap , lead cross‑functional collaboration, and manage products through the full lifecycle
- Preferred: Demonstrated expertise in major‑donor‑focused marketing , including message development, collateral creation, and value‑proposition refinement
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate insights into product improvements, track performance metrics, and influence senior stakeholders.
