About the role

  • Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintaining a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully uphold Compassion’s ministry in prayer
  • Act as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children
  • Understand Christ’s mandate to protect children
  • Commit to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry
  • Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct
  • Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur
  • Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors
  • Lead marketing strategy, messaging, and collateral for donor-funded initiatives
  • Develop compelling product naming and brand identity
  • Create donor-facing materials and messaging
  • Collaborate with fundraising teams and regional representatives to promote offerings
  • Refine product features and donor experience based on feedback
  • Ensure operational and financial sustainability of offerings
  • Define and track KPIs, donor engagement, and retention metrics
  • Support of other products as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or related strategic roles—ideally within donor‑funded, nonprofit, or mission‑driven environments
  • Proven ability to define product strategy and roadmap , lead cross‑functional collaboration, and manage products through the full lifecycle
  • Preferred: Demonstrated expertise in major‑donor‑focused marketing , including message development, collateral creation, and value‑proposition refinement
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate insights into product improvements, track performance metrics, and influence senior stakeholders.
