About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor and close accounts/charts in the electronic health record.
- Support smooth communication and information sharing across departments during transitions and discharges.
- Review data and identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows.
- Track incomplete documentation and communicate through the appropriate chain of command.
- Create and maintain reports using Excel and/or Power BI.
- Perform data entry, data review, and data scrubbing to support data quality and accuracy.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School/GED required.
- Associate’s degree in computer applications or related field preferred.
- At least two (2) years of Excel experience required if high school/GED is the highest degree obtained.
- Knowledge of electronic health records preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional Suite preferred.
- Strong understanding of relational databases preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accurate, reliable work.
- Ability to work with data, technology, and electronic systems.
- Ability to identify patterns and process-efficiency opportunities.
- Clear communication and effective cross-department collaboration.
- Ability to balance independent work with cross-functional teamwork.
- Curiosity, resourcefulness, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
