About the role
- Oversee the quality, consistency, and continuity of outpatient substance use disorder services, including co-occurring treatment
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for all outpatient SUD staff, supporting performance, accountability, and professional growth
- Direct recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of staff in collaboration with outpatient SUD leadership
- Ensure programs meet all regulatory, contractual, and certification requirements, including DMH rules, CARF, and Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse standards
- Lead program development and standardization across the outpatient continuum of care to enhance engagement and recovery outcomes
- Manage fiscal oversight, contracts, sub-contracts, and referral arrangements with community partners
- Strengthen coordination with courts, referral sources, and community agencies to support access and continuity of care
- Monitor program performance, staff attendance, and compliance with organizational policies and procedures
- Participate in agency and leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning initiatives
Requirements
- Master’s degree preferred (mental health field preferred)
- At least three (3) years of related experience required
- At least one (1) year of supervisory experience required
- Specialized training in the treatment of substance use disorders required
- Valid driver’s license and agency-established minimum automobile insurance coverage required
