About the role

  • Generate new business opportunities from both incoming leads and targeted outbound lead generation.
  • Learn, leverage and contribute to refining our lead generation process.
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team & Marketing teams to develop a regional sales strategy and execution plan.
  • Be responsible for reaching and exceeding quarterly targets for qualified leads, demos and customers signed.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations (in person and virtually) and present Compass solutions to school stakeholders.
  • Work with various stakeholders across schools whilst partnering internally with our Customer Success team to ensure the best school experience for prospective schools.
  • Keep up to date on the Compass product and participate in regular training & informational sessions.
  • Support and attend local and national marketing events.
  • Collaborate with the Onboarding and Training Team to bring new Customers onto the Compass Platform quickly and efficiently.
  • Pipeline management including documenting, tracking and following up on all active opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven background selling to the education sector, especially K-12 and Independent School sector.
  • Strong consultative sales skills, sales acumen and a results-driven approach.
  • Experience generating new business from incoming leads and targeted outbound lead generation.
  • Experience delivering engaging product demonstrations in person and virtually.
  • Experience with pipeline management, documenting, tracking and following up on active opportunities.
  • Ability to work with various stakeholders across schools and partner internally with Customer Success.
  • Ability to collaborate with Senior Leadership and Marketing to develop regional sales strategy.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building and interpersonal skills; team-first attitude.
  • Valid Employee Working With Children Check.
  • Verification of unrestricted work rights in Australia (e.g., citizenship, passport, or birth certificate).
  • Successful National Police Check.
  • Valid Driver's Licence.
