• We’re seeking a Schools Business Development Manager to help us grow in South Australia!
• **About The Role**
• With over 15 years serving the Australian education sector, Compass is well known and loved amongst K-12 schools and we need you to help drive further success.
• With your passion, energy and savvy sales acumen, you’ll spend your days building and driving conversations within the government school sector. Your core mission is to learn about school challenges and articulate how Compass solutions can help teachers, administrators and school leaders focus on the important stuff - enabling schools to drive increased parent engagement, spend less time on administration and more time delivering great learning experiences.
• You will deliver engaging product demonstrations (in person and virtually), work with various stakeholders across schools whilst partnering internally with our Customer Success team to ensure the best school experience for our prospective schools.
• **You will also: **
• - Generate new business opportunities from both incoming leads and targeted outbound lead generation.
• - Learn, leverage and contribute to refining our lead generation process.
• - Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team & Marketing teams to develop a regional sales strategy and execution plan.
• - Be responsible for reaching and exceeding quarterly targets for qualified leads, demos and customers signed.
• - Keep up to date on the Compass product and participate in regular training & informational sessions.
• - Support and attend local and national marketing events.
• - Collaborate with the Onboarding and Training Team to bring new Customers onto the Compass Platform quickly and efficiently.
• - Maintain your territories pipeline including documenting, tracking and following up on all active opportunities.

Business Development Manager – EdTech, SaaS

Onboarding Specialist

• Responsible for the successful migration of schools’ MIS data to Compass.
• Project manage the customer journey from point of sale to BAU live running.
• Work with schools to make sure that they have an enjoyable, smooth transition over to our software with as little hassle as possible.
• Complete full end to end migration of schools data from previous MIS system into Compass
• Maintain strict timeline of project delivery, ensuring that internally and externally set deadlines are met
• Work with the Training Team to ensure all school’s portals are configured to suit their needs
• Stay up to date with changes to data retention policies and market updates with regard to migration techniques and offerings
• Ensure your Compass knowledge is up to date and thorough
• Meet with the school, virtually or in person, to understand their requirements and allay any fears.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation and processes both internally and externally
• Coordinate Hardware provisioning and delivery according to School dates
• Provide an excellent onboarding experience to all schools
• Ad-Hoc tasks as directed by your manager

Customer Onboarding Consultant

Business Development Manager

• Reporting to: Head of Sales - UK & IE• Responsible for delivering growth to our revenue & client base in the UK by establishing & managing sales relationships with school leadership, admin teams and teachers to drive adoption of Compass across multiple market segments.• Deliver demonstrations of our product in person and online, and handle queries, stakeholder concerns and product configuration questions arising during the sales process.• Develop quotations for prospective customers and undertake commercial negotiations to secure contracts with potential customers.• Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to acceptance of leads, discovery meetings and demonstrations, through to deal closure.• Cover The Midlands region; travel to schools across these regions — valid driving licence essential.
