About the role

  • Plan, build, and ship new features in collaboration with product managers and designers
  • Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development, ensure code quality, and automate routine tasks
  • Build fast and intuitive UI components and e-commerce features using TypeScript and React/Preact
  • Write unit and integration tests and monitor features in production; fix issues quickly
  • Optimize applications for speed and scalability across stores of all sizes
  • Mentor less-experienced teammates and participate in code reviews to uphold engineering standards
  • Involved end-to-end from technical analysis and design to coding, review, and deployment

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on JavaScript/FrontEnd development
  • Deep knowledge of modern FrontEnd frameworks (preferably React or similar) and TypeScript
  • Proven experience or strong interest in using AI tools for development (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor)
  • Strong problem solving and trade-off decision making
  • Proactive, product-focused and able to take initiative
  • Resilient and creative when solving complex problems
  • Strong communicator; able to explain technical concepts to non-engineers and collaborate remotely
  • Familiarity with testing tools: Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright (implied)
  • Bonus: Experience with multiple FrontEnd frameworks (React, Angular, Vue), VanillaJS, performance tuning, build tools (Webpack, Parcel, Vite)
  • Senior Front-End experience: 8+ years
