About the role
- Deeply understand the company’s objectives and contribute to formulating product strategies for both new and existing products that align with those objectives;
- Understand user experience challenges in detail and work to find solutions;
- Know the profiles and competencies of direct reports thoroughly and support their personal and professional growth;
- Plan, define and take actions based on product metrics and success indicators for products and features;
- Facilitate relationship management and negotiations with business areas, ensuring alignment with the context of the team members;
- Provide product transparency and metrics, promoting continuous improvement grounded in data and statistical analysis;
- Spread product culture using methods, frameworks and methodologies for defining and building products that deliver value;
- Promote product culture within the company and the team by incorporating best practices, talks, frameworks and methodologies that guide the creation of valuable products;
- Closely monitor articles, competitors and benchmarks to enrich discussions and bring new opportunities to drive growth and/or improve customer experience;
- Propose and facilitate stakeholder discussions to advance the definition of strategies or important business decisions;
- Interact directly with the Executive Board during follow-up meetings and outside of them to collaborate on initiatives and keep everyone updated.
Requirements
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- At least 1 year of experience in startups or high-growth dynamic companies;
- At least 5 years of experience in product management with a track record of launches and pursuit of product-market fit;
- Extensive experience in managing and monitoring value chains, with concrete examples of results achieved in previous companies;
- Demonstrated experience that proves strong leadership ability and people development skills;
- Technical experience and knowledge sufficient to lead a specialist squad, such as data or payments teams;
- Analytical skills and the ability to interpret data;
- Active listening and the ability to capture customer needs;
- Excellent spoken and written communication and strong synthesis skills;
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues in non-hierarchical environments.
