Key responsibilities & impact

Build features for the practice management platform, Insights, ensuring it scales to support thousands of practices and millions of users
Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions using ReactJS, Python, and PostgreSQL
Improve system reliability and observability by implementing best practices in monitoring, logging, and alerting
Optimize performance and scalability of our web applications, ensuring seamless user experiences as we rapidly expand
Collaborate with infrastructure and backend teams to ensure high availability and resilience of core functions
Own high-impact projects, balancing speed and quality in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
Conduct in-depth code reviews, uphold best practices, and drive architectural improvements across the stack
Work closely with product and design teams to build intuitive, user-friendly experiences for healthcare providers and staff

Requirements

What you’ll need

1+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on building scalable full-stack applications
Proficiency in full-stack development with expertise in JavaScript (React/Vue), Python, and PostgreSQL
Experience owning multi-month, high-impact projects, balancing trade-offs, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
Good understanding of modern front-end engineering, React fundamentals, performance optimization, state management, and component-driven design
Experience working with complex backend systems, including designing APIs and optimizing database performance
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with a focus on observability (monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices)
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical concepts to leadership and cross-functional teams.
