About the role
- Support corporate, wireless, and physical network infrastructure and clients including desktop and system support tasks.
- Support system uptime and maintenance for services and devices within the organization.
- Install and troubleshoot Windows, Mac & Linux operating systems, applications, and security patches.
- Assemble and troubleshoot hardware components.
- Set up and troubleshoot LAN connections for computers.
- Design and troubleshoot File & Print Services.
- Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts to resolve issues timely and minimize disruptions.
- Configure and troubleshoot network protocols (Static routing, BGP, NAT, DHCP).
- Manage inventory of hardware, software, and licensing.
- Monitor systems, produce reports, and maintain documentation.
- Report security events and comply with information security policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology or Equivalent.
- 1–3 years of professional experience in an IT company or related technical role.
- Strong hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting and network issue resolution.
- Installation and troubleshooting of Windows, Mac & Linux based operating systems, applications and security patches.
- Basic hardware assembling and troubleshooting.
- Network (LAN) connection setup and troubleshooting.
- File & Print Services design and troubleshooting.
- Lead desktop and helpdesk support; resolve desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems.
- Knowledge of basic network protocols and configurations (Static routing, BGP, NAT, DHCP).
- Inventory Management (Hardware, Software, Licensing).
- Monitoring, Reporting and Documentation.
- Comfortable working Night Shift (10pm to 7am).
- Ability to comply with information security policies and annual attestations.
- Relevant experience with Active Directory, VMWare, Okta Administration, Google Workspace (GSuite) Administration, MDM Tool Administration (preferred).
