About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the daily operation of one or more community home for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Delegate work, assign duties, and complete tasks of direct support staff.
Support team by fostering open communication and setting clear expectations.
Provide necessary resources, training, and regular feedback.
Ensure health, safety, and welfare of individuals within the program.
Coordinate and ensure development of shifts, activities, and routines.
Serve as direct supervisor of direct support staff, interviewing, hiring, orienting and training.
Participate in the company’s on-call system.
Transport individuals for meetings, appointments, or community activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 1 year of experience working in programs for persons with IDD
High school diploma/GED
Valid driver's license
Good driving record
Reliable vehicle
Ability to work flexible hours
