Key responsibilities & impact

Own expanding Kambo’s partnerships with Tribal communities and organizations across the U.S. West Coast.
Focused on community engagement and relationship-building, helping support Tribal Nations access benefits of efficiency and clean energy programs.
Play a critical role in identifying opportunities, building trust with stakeholders, and supporting development of programs that align with community priorities.
Build and nurture long-term, trust-based relationships with Tribal communities, organizations, and leadership across the U.S. West Coast.
Lead community outreach and engagement efforts in a respectful, responsive manner.

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of experience in community engagement, relationship-building, partnerships, outreach, program coordination, or related work.
Demonstrated experience working with Tribal communities, organizations, or governments, or lived experience within Tribal communities.
Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse groups and settings.
Ability to listen deeply, navigate conversations with cultural awareness and humility, and build relationships over time.
Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-moving environment while staying organized and accountable.
Willingness and ability to travel regularly for in-community engagement and relationship-building.
