About the role
- Support and coordinate the mental and physical health care of patients on an assigned caseload with the patient's medical provider and other mental health providers when appropriate.
- Provide direct patient care on a short-term basis.
- Support psychotropic medication management.
- Serve as a core member of the collaborative care team including the patient's medical provider and psychiatric consultant, and the larger primary care or medical team.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree, Ph.D., or PsyD in a mental health, social work, counseling, or related behavioral health field is necessary.
- Must hold an active and in good standing license such as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP).
- California Children Services (CCS) paneling is required within six months of hire.
- Minimum: 1 year licensed experience in Behavioral Health.
- Preferred: 3-4 years of related experience in a healthcare setting.
