About the role
- Build and maintain advanced reporting dashboards that unify performance across paid media, website analytics, CRM data, and creative testing. Analyze campaign performance to identify trends, optimization opportunities, and strategic insights for nonprofit clients.
- Partner with media planners, strategists, and creative teams to ensure data informs audience targeting, messaging, and creative development.
- Develop measurement frameworks, attribution approaches, and testing methodologies tailored to nonprofit goals (donations, lead generation, volunteer sign‑ups, advocacy actions).
- Lead deep‑dive analyses on donor journeys, conversion funnels, and cross‑channel performance to guide strategic recommendations.
- Standardize reporting processes, templates, and data hygiene practices to improve efficiency and accuracy across the agency.
- Present insights to clients in a clear, compelling, and accessible way—translating complex data into meaningful narratives.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modeling for paid media and fundraising campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate new tools, platforms, and data integrations that enhance our analytics capabilities.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a strong, scalable analytics function.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics, preferably within an agency or nonprofit environment. Deep expertise with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and other major ad platform analytics tools.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI) and spreadsheet modeling.
- Experience working with nonprofit KPIs, donor funnels, and mission‑driven campaign metrics.
- Ability to translate data into insights that influence strategy, creative, and media planning.
- Strong understanding of attribution models, tracking setups, and conversion measurement best practices.
- Comfort working with large datasets and performing advanced analysis (segmentation, cohort analysis, regression, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building systems, improving processes, and driving operational clarity.
- Familiarity with CRM or fundraising platforms (e.g., Salesforce, EveryAction, Classy, HubSpot) is a plus.
