About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assume the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability of implementing medical services, policies, and procedures
Coordinate medical care, including emergency treatment procedures
Maintain effective liaison with attending physicians
Implement methods to keep the quality of care under constant surveillance
Provide necessary physician services for those residents within skilled nursing facilities and/or clinic environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

M.D. or D.O. required
Gerontology certification preferred
MD or DO license in State of Ohio
ABMS Board Certified in: Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Geriatrics or Hospice/ Palliative
5+ years of experience working with geriatric or long-term care population
Demonstrated experience working with and educating NP’s
