Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build and enhance applications and platforms addressing emerging fraud and scam threats
Contribute to scam detection, digital intrusion alerts and fraud prevention technologies
Modernise fraud technology platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, SQL, scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and Snowflake data pipeline development and integration
Strong hands-on development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js and Python
Experience building scalable backend services and APIs
AWS cloud experience
Docker and containerised application development
SQL experience including PostgreSQL and Snowflake
Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tooling including GitHub Actions and TeamCity
Security-first engineering mindset
Experience with automated testing practices
API and integration testing experience
Exposure to DevSecOps practices
Experience with observability tools such as Splunk or Observe
Production monitoring and operational support experience
End-to-end ownership of solutions
Willingness to embrace AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot
Passion for mentoring and uplifting other engineers
