About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Guide clients and business partners throughout their lending journey, with experiences and insights that are essential to developing authentic long-term relationships.
- Build new client relationships and identify new business development opportunities by advocating for CBA and CBA products, including lending, banking and wealth.
- Build your personal brand and network in the community to enhance your credibility.
- Determine suitable lending solutions with prospective homebuyers and submitting lending applications.
- Grow your business by building and maintaining external referral sources, and seeking external referrals from existing customers.
- Refer customers with more complex financial needs to specialists within the Group.
- Research the broader market, and economic and industry changes affecting customers and the Group.
- Share best practice, productivity ideas and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the Private Banking team by inspiring, developing and growing colleagues.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Recent experience in a similar role from within Private Banking, Premier Banking, Business/Commercial Banking or similar.
- Experience in residential and commercial lending, including complex lending structures.
- A demonstrated ability to develop new networks and maintain effective relationships with high and ultra-high net worth clients.
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business or related field (desirable).
