About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Guide clients and business partners throughout their lending journey, with experiences and insights that are essential to developing authentic long-term relationships.
  • Build new client relationships and identify new business development opportunities by advocating for CBA and CBA products, including lending, banking and wealth.
  • Build your personal brand and network in the community to enhance your credibility.
  • Determine suitable lending solutions with prospective homebuyers and submitting lending applications.
  • Grow your business by building and maintaining external referral sources, and seeking external referrals from existing customers.
  • Refer customers with more complex financial needs to specialists within the Group.
  • Research the broader market, and economic and industry changes affecting customers and the Group.
  • Share best practice, productivity ideas and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the Private Banking team by inspiring, developing and growing colleagues.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Recent experience in a similar role from within Private Banking, Premier Banking, Business/Commercial Banking or similar.
  • Experience in residential and commercial lending, including complex lending structures.
  • A demonstrated ability to develop new networks and maintain effective relationships with high and ultra-high net worth clients.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business or related field (desirable).
