About the role
- Consult on technical strategies, products, and feature designs as a Staff Engineer SME
- Lead key project initiatives that drive the organisation’s automation and optimisation capabilities
- Work as a Full Cycle Engineer including automation development, systems integration, and contributing to platform evolution and business strategy
- Design and deploy secure, scalable infrastructure and services in cloud environments such as AWS
- Take ownership of platforms and services including Sailpoint, CyberArk and PingID
- Support deployments across Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) through continuous delivery pipelines
- Participate in agile ceremonies and regular engineering guilds, contributing to governance, standards, and best practices
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation
Requirements
- Knowledge that spans both development and operations, including coding, infrastructure management, system admin/engineering, and DevOps Toolchains
- Experience as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) consulting on technical strategies, products, and feature designs
- Full Cycle Engineer experience including automation development and systems integration
- Experience designing and deploying secure, scalable infrastructure and services in cloud environments such as AWS
- Experience with identity and access platforms including Sailpoint, CyberArk and PingID
- Have led major end-to-end enterprise solutions including discovery, strategy, design, product, development, and deploy
- DevSecOps mindset: "You build it, you secure it, you test it, and you run it."
- Support deployments across Cloud (i.e. AWS, Azure, GCP) through continuous delivery pipelines
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methods and broader experience around architecture, design, implementation, deployment, integration, and technology transformations
- Front End Technology experience: React, Angular
- Experience with Microservices, Databases, Event Streaming and Serverless Frameworks
- Coding Languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript
- DevSecOps tools: CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity, Synk, Sonarqube, Octopus)
- Network knowledge: Firewall, network segmentation, Infrastructure as code, API gateways
- IaC: Terraform, Cloudformation
- Containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes
- AI & Machine learning and LLM knowledge is desired
