About the role
- Deliver high quality and timely Analytics assignments across the portfolio
- Consistently deliver accurate and effective data analytics in line with methodology and quality standards
- Work closely and effectively with auditors and teams within GA&A and across CBA to understand the risk and control environment
- Profile, test and understand data extracted from core business systems to determine the existence of unidentified risks or control failures
- Present results clearly and concisely to senior internal and external stakeholders
- Solve complex analytical problems by applying innovative and resourceful thinking
- Provide independent and objective assurance on effectiveness of risk management, controls and governance processes
- Identify issues and commercial insights as part of high-quality audit reports to improve customer banking experience
- Develop and implement data, analytics and AI technologies in assurance delivery to increase efficiencies
Requirements
- Experience with analytics languages such as SQL, python or R
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into simplified stakeholder key messages
- Proven experience in using best practice across analytics, data management, risk management, and governance
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with auditors to solve data challenges and draw insights from analysis
- Attention to detail and quality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
- Strong commercial acumen
- Demonstrated good team player
- Audit experience skills preferable but not necessary
- Risk Mindset – expected to proactively identify, understand, discuss and act on current and future risks
