About the role
- Support Private Bankers to provide exceptional service to high net worth clients
- Write, negotiate and manage commercial credit applications for new and existing clients
- Complete credit submissions and annual reviews to ensure timely delivery of decisions, documentation and funding
- Undertake detailed analysis of client and industry specific information focusing on key financial drivers
- Apply analytical skills to business problems and effectively communicate outcomes and recommendations
- Prepare concise and well-reasoned credit correspondence
- Focus on quality, credit management and the minimising of credit and operational losses
- Audit and review team files to meet credit assurance standards
- Investigate credit policy framework and changes to support credit submission applications
Requirements
- Commercial lending experience (from either customer facing/sales or credit/analyst environment)
- Credit analysis training and demonstrated experience (desirable)
- Well-developed MS Excel skills and experience in performing financial analysis/modelling
- Tertiary qualifications in a business related discipline e.g. Banking, Commerce (desirable)
- Experience supporting high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients (clients who intend to invest or borrow at least AU$2.5million)
