About the role
- Lead delivery of migration, uplift or modernisation initiatives across eCommerce payment capabilities
- Define scope, sequencing and prioritisation of work aligned to business and customer outcomes
- Drive risk identification and mitigation across regulatory, operational and customer-impact risks
- Prepare and manage governance artefacts including change papers, risk memos, impact assessments and control documentation
- Work across cross-functional squads including Technology, Risk, Operations and Customer teams
- Ensure service continuity and operational stability during periods of change
- Support engagement with high-transacting or priority merchants where required
- Monitor post-implementation outcomes and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Experience leading complex change initiatives in payments, banking or regulated environments
- Exposure to one or more of the following: Merchant or customer migration, Core transaction processing uplift, Cloud/infrastructure modernisation (e.g. AWS), PCI or regulatory compliance uplift, CI/CD or platform engineering improvements
- Strong risk and governance capability, including preparation of formal change artefacts
- Experience operating within agile or hybrid delivery environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills across Product, Technology, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Operations
- Confidence navigating ambiguity and driving delivery without heavy hand-holding
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
