About the role

  • Serve as the lead mechanical engineer for power‑generation and combined‑cycle projects, providing technical direction and oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop, review, and optimize mechanical system designs
  • Perform engineering analyses, troubleshooting, and root‑cause evaluations
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams—including operations, electrical/I&C engineering, project management, and external partners—to ensure successful project execution.
  • Prepare and review engineering specifications, technical reports, and equipment evaluations.
  • Attends and at times leads internal and external client meetings, conference calls and client site visits.
  • Support Business Development by providing technical information for sales proposals, or by pursuing other related activities as assigned by department managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Registration as Professional Engineer (P.E.)
  • Minimum 4 years of relates work and project experience within the Power Generation sector
  • Overseeing technical aspects of projects and providing guidance and mentorship to project resources
  • Experience delivering 3-5 multifaceted construction projects simultaneously.
