About the role
- Serve as the lead mechanical engineer for power‑generation and combined‑cycle projects, providing technical direction and oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop, review, and optimize mechanical system designs
- Perform engineering analyses, troubleshooting, and root‑cause evaluations
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams—including operations, electrical/I&C engineering, project management, and external partners—to ensure successful project execution.
- Prepare and review engineering specifications, technical reports, and equipment evaluations.
- Attends and at times leads internal and external client meetings, conference calls and client site visits.
- Support Business Development by providing technical information for sales proposals, or by pursuing other related activities as assigned by department managers.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Registration as Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- Minimum 4 years of relates work and project experience within the Power Generation sector
- Overseeing technical aspects of projects and providing guidance and mentorship to project resources
- Experience delivering 3-5 multifaceted construction projects simultaneously.
