About the role
- Lead and scale technical program management for large, multi-year, multi-team initiatives in partnership with cross-functional leadership team
- Drive end-to-end program delivery from estimation and business case approval through execution, go-live readiness, product launch and benefit reporting post-go-live
- Partner with Technology and Product leadership to align technical strategy with business priorities and customer outcomes
- Lead roadmap and project plan development, identifying technical and business dependencies across cross-functional teams and various platforms
- Partner with Architecture and Technical Leads to guide technical trade-off decisions
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for senior executives
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on delivery risk, investment trade-offs and execution strategy
- Anticipate and resolve systemic delivery challenges, technical risks, and organizational bottlenecks
- Own program governance, including dependency management, risk mitigation, metrics, and executive-level reporting
- Ensure strong change management and communication strategies
- Champion agile and modern delivery practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Technical Program Management (TPM)
- 7+ years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional technology programs
- Experience delivering cloud-native, distributed systems at scale
- Experience managing large, complex, highly cross functional software development efforts (i.e. coordinating across 7+ delivery workstreams / departments)
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (including waterfall, Agile and Hybrid), system architecture, and platform engineering
- Proven ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, and proven ability to develop and deliver Executive level presentations
- Experience working in highly regulated environments (financial services, healthcare, etc.)
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with establishing and executing ePMO / VMO processes
- 5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to manage, mentor and coach team members
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced, matrix environment
- Experience with program cost estimation
- Experience in process optimization
