Key responsibilities & impact

Lead day-to-day technology operations across infrastructure, business systems, internal IT, and application delivery.
Oversee both infrastructure and applications, ensuring stability, scalability, security, and business alignment.
Manage technology budgets across operating expenses and capital expenditures, including software, cloud, infrastructure, telecom, and technical services.
Drive vendor management, renewal planning, cost optimization, and accountability for third-party partners and contractors.
Build practical operating discipline for service delivery, change management, escalation, documentation, and release coordination.
Partner with operations, finance, and executive leadership to prioritize initiatives that improve visibility, efficiency, and growth.
Support systems integration, acquired business onboarding, and scaling efforts as the company grows through 2029.
Develop KPIs, reporting rhythms, and execution follow-through for the technology function.

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.
Experience leading both infrastructure and applications or business systems in a growing business.
Strong operational mindset with the ability to execute in a lean environment without relying on a large internal team.
Experience managing budgets, vendors, technical roadmaps, and cross-functional priorities.
Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders and translate technical work into business value.
Comfort balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
Preferred Background Experience in multi-site, field service, industrial, facilities, compliance, construction, or similarly operational businesses.
Experience in a PE-backed, high-growth, or acquisition-oriented environment.
Track record of improving reliability, delivery discipline, and scale in a small or mid-sized organization.
Experience leading internal staff as well as external vendors, contractors, or managed service partners.
