About the role
- provide legal services to Commerce Bancshares, Inc. and its subsidiary companies
- drafting and negotiating vendor contracts
- identifying and analyzing legal issues
- presenting clear recommendations
- assuring adherence to legal requirements
- managing the ongoing review of all third-party vendor contracts
- collaborating with Third Party Risk Management on enhancements to the contract review process
- completing legal research projects
- assisting with customer complaints and legal issues
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited law school and admittance (or ability to gain admittance) to an acceptable state bar required
- 2+ years legal or other relevant experience required, preferably in a financial institution or corporate legal setting
