About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Delivering technical projects across engineering, product, data, and operations teams.
  • Owns projects fully and is accountable for delivery, not just status reporting.
  • Works alongside engineers to shape solutions, recognize when a technical approach has holes in it, and keep work moving in a fast-paced Agile environment.
  • Participates in technical discussions with enough depth to add value.
  • Drives end-to-end project management including scope definition, scheduling, dependency management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Maintains project tracking, sprint alignment, and reporting that gives stakeholders real visibility.
  • Facilitates project reviews, design discussions, and decision-making forums to remove blockers and keep teams aligned.
  • Continuously improves delivery processes, tooling, and documentation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–6 years of experience in technical project management or software delivery, with a background that includes hands-on engineering, development, or solution architecture work.
  • Solid understanding of modern software development including cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
  • Working experience with engineering stacks such as .NET, Java, React, Python, or JavaScript frameworks.
  • Enough depth to follow technical conversations and ask the right questions.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities across concurrent work.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with Agile delivery frameworks and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management platforms.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving Agile environment where priorities shift and iteration speed matters.
  • Experience with healthcare data, interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, claims data), or regulated environments is a plus.
  • Ownership mindset. When you see a problem, you take it on and drive it to resolution rather than waiting for direction.
  • Ability to develop solution options when faced with trade-offs and bring recommendations, not just questions.
  • Experience working with distributed teams and coordinating delivery across multiple stakeholders.
