Cost Optimization Analyst

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Use Excel to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and spot cost-saving opportunities
- Support cost tracking, reporting, and documentation activities
- Help build and improve processes for auditing and reconciliation
- Assist in managing projects by organizing tasks, keeping things on track, and meeting deadlines
- Work with other teams to gather information, ensure accuracy, and solve problems
- Create reports and dashboards to summarize findings for leadership
- Jump in on special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed
- Takes on additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support the success of the team and organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, lookups, and data analysis)
- 1–3 years of experience in an analytical, financial, operations, or business support role
- Interest in process improvement and project management; prior exposure is a plus, but a willingness to learn is even more important
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Curiosity and problem-solving mindset
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-starter who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute in a fast-paced environment
