About the role
- Audit telecom cost-of-service invoices using various data sources to ensure accuracy and compliance with vendor contracts and terms
- Maintain data accuracy in internal systems related to telecom services and associated costs
- Analyze data to identify discrepancies, cost anomalies, and opportunities for corrective actions or process improvements
- Manage and submit vendor disputes using appropriate internal systems and vendor processes
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and telecom vendors to resolve billing and cost-related issues
- Track, document, and report on cost assurance activities, highlighting trends and areas of concern
- Support ad hoc projects and initiatives, as assigned
Requirements
- Experience in cost assurance, financial analysis, or accounts payable
- Telecommunications industry experience required
- Strong Excel data transformation, modeling, and detailed data analysis capabilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with experience in independent research and problem-solving
- Highly organized and detail orientated
- Proven ability to learn new skills and tasks quickly
- Ability to embrace and recommend change and provide new ideas
