About the role

  • Research, prioritize, and execute outbound prospecting into net-new, non-client accounts using a mix of calls, emails, LinkedIn, and strategic touches
  • Build and manage target account lists aligned to ICP, vertical focus, and active sales initiatives
  • Execute a disciplined account-based prospecting motion, tailoring messaging by persona, use case, and stage of AI maturity
  • Run structured first-touch discovery conversations to understand customer initiatives, challenges, and success criteria
  • Qualify opportunities using clear qualification standards (e.g., problem clarity, urgency, stakeholders, and next steps) before passing to Account Executives
  • Set high-quality meetings that convert to active pipeline, not just calendar activity
  • Maintain clean, accurate CRM data including contacts, accounts, activities, and qualification notes
  • Collaborate with AEs, Marketing, and RevOps to refine messaging, sequences, and target strategies
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly goals for meetings set, qualified opportunities, and pipeline contribution

Requirements

  • 1+ years of SDR or BDR experience, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or startup environment
  • Strong understanding of account-based prospecting and multi-threading into complex organizations
  • Ability to engage credibly with technical and business buyers, especially within data, AI, or engineering teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a clear, confident, and concise style
  • Strong time management and organizational discipline
  • Comfort operating against measurable goals and performance metrics
  • Experience prospecting into mid-market or enterprise accounts
  • Exposure to AI, ML, data platforms, or developer-focused products
  • Experience using Salesforce, Salesloft, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6sense or similar tools
