About the role
- Maintain control of all energy purchase and sale operations and enter information into the system;
- Apply contractual rules for Flexibility, Seasonality and Modulation to operations for invoicing;
- Send purchase and/or sale orders to Finance for operation billing;
- Issue billing reports and TUSD charge statements;
- Monitor the market to enable the energy trader to participate in existing energy auctions;
- Update the forward energy price curve report;
- Prepare the monthly presentation consolidating information and operations from the Trading Backoffice area;
- Update and prepare the monthly billing spreadsheet with short-term closing results, pending/active guarantees and CCEE financial commitments;
- Assist with collecting contractual guarantees to prevent payment delays and contact the relationship executive when necessary;
- Liaise with Legal to monitor issuance of energy purchase and sale contracts;
- Record purchase and sale transactions in the Trading system;
- Calculate amounts payable or receivable related to TUSD discounts, issue debit notes, and verify/execute payments;
- Adjust energy contract prices and control information provided by counterparties;
- Prepare and send market reports;
- Prepare the Portfolio Map (Mapa de Carteira) for Newcom Comercializadora, receiving information from the Front after each operation close to keep the database updated, enable prospecting for the front team, and suggest potential contracting strategies;
- Analyze and evaluate contractual hedges for Newcom Comercializadora and its clients, providing buy/sell needs to the Front;
- Ensure all information from energy purchase and sale operations and contractual data are registered and validated in the CCEE;
- Assist Legal in enforcing/collecting signed energy contracts to exercise contractual clauses related to energy registration at the CCEE;
- Monitor CCEE events (contributions, accounting, settlement, penalties, among others);
- Register, adjust and validate all the trader's contracts in the CCEE;
- Update the area’s reports, controls and presentations;
- Perform Early Registrations in accordance with contractual clauses and existing guarantees.
