About the role
- Lead the technical cycle of energy efficiency studies, diagnostics and projects, from the preliminary phase through consolidation of the executive design.
- Perform and supervise site surveys, data collection and detailed energy analyses.
- Validate calculations, simulations, technical memoranda, estimated savings and feasibility analyses.
- Ensure technical consistency in energy modeling, data analyses and simulations.
- Conduct technical meetings with clients, internal teams, suppliers and project stakeholders.
- Prepare technical reports, executive presentations, technical specifications and descriptive scope memoranda for budgeting.
- Serve as the technical reference throughout the project, guiding decisions and ensuring the technical integrity of deliverables.
- Carry out critical scope analyses, identify technical risks and propose preventive actions.
- Perform the assessment, estimation, refinement and validation of required investments (CAPEX), operating costs (OPEX) and engineering assumptions for each phase of development, from conceptual studies to executive design.
- Support the commercial team with techno-economic inputs, including preliminary budgets, cost consolidation and feasibility analysis.
- Engage with suppliers to obtain quotations, investment scenarios and technical validation of proposed solutions.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Required knowledge:
- - Industrial and building utility systems and applications: HVAC, steam, compressed air, chilled water, motors, lighting, heat pumps, substation, heat recovery, etc.
- - Industrial processes and the interaction between production systems and utilities.
- - Data analysis tools (advanced Excel, Python, Power BI).
- - Industrial data collection and analysis systems.
- - Advanced interpretation of P&IDs, process flow diagrams, electrical schematics and engineering documentation.
