About the role
- Build and maintain strong client relationships on energy efficiency projects, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
- Maintain active communication with internal business units, promoting collaboration and synergy for energy efficiency initiatives.
- Travel to client sites to collect essential data and present energy efficiency studies, ensuring accuracy and relevance of information.
- Develop comprehensive energy efficiency studies for lighting, electric motors, refrigeration, boilers, compressed air systems, and substations to optimize energy consumption.
- Calculate economic feasibility based on projected savings for each proposed project.
- Prepare commercial presentations for clients, highlighting proposed energy efficiency solutions.
- Manage and monitor opportunity pipelines from identification through to closure, maximizing business opportunities.
- Actively participate in contract negotiations to add value to projects and the business, ensuring advantageous agreements for all parties.
- Mentor and support team members on energy efficiency activities and projects, promoting professional development and operational excellence.
- Conduct proactive prospecting according to defined guidelines, autonomously and effectively presenting the company’s business model to expand the market and attract new clients and suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in energy efficiency projects.
- Knowledge of at least three of the following solutions: compressed air, motors, lighting, boilers, or substations.
- Familiarity with energy efficiency systems such as compressed air systems, electric motors, lighting, boilers, and substations.
- Experience preparing commercial proposals, managing contracts, and liaising with suppliers.
- Financial modeling skills, including NPV (Net Present Value) and IRR (Internal Rate of Return) calculations.
- Advanced Office skills: advanced Excel proficiency, including use of complex formulas and data analysis.
