About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and integrations as part of a cross-functional team
- Work across a modern, broad technology stack: Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, MongoDB, MySQL
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and Product Owners throughout the full development lifecycle
- Contribute to gradual modernization of an established, large-scale codebase through safe, well-scoped changes
- Participate in code reviews and help uphold engineering standards within the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of professional Java development experience
- Solid understanding of Spring Boot and RESTful service design
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases; exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB) is a plus
- Comfortable working in an Agile team environment with daily collaboration across functions
- Eager to learn, communicative, sharing knowledge, and grow as an engineer
- Strong written and spoken English
